When Should You Activate Your eSIM?
You can set up your eSIM plan before you leave, but we recommend activating it when you arrive at your destination. The key requirement for activation is having a strong and stable internet connection. It’s a good idea to complete the eSIM setup ahead of time but only activate it once you’re in an area with good network coverage.
After activation, ensure that data roaming is enabled on your device and that your original SIM card is turned off to avoid high roaming charges from your home carrier.
How Long Does the eSIM Plan Last?
Your eSIM plan starts when you finish setting it up and connect to the local network at your destination. The validity period begins at this point and will last either for the number of days specified or until you use up the data limit of the plan.
For example, if you purchase a 1GB plan for 7 days, it will be valid for 7 days starting from the moment you first connect to the internet at your destination. If you use all 1GB of data by the fourth day, the plan will expire earlier.
You’ll be notified when your data balance is low, and you can always check your remaining data on our website.
Can You Renew Your eSIM Plan?
Absolutely! If your plan runs out, renewing it is quick and easy. You can purchase a new plan through our website or get in touch with our customer service for assistance.
What to Do with Your eSIM When You Get Home
Once you’re back home, you can deactivate the eSIM from your device’s eSIM menu and switch back to your local SIM card for regular browsing, calling, and texting with your usual carrier.
If you encounter any issues during setup or need a new data plan, our customer service team is ready to help. You can reach out via WhatsApp or email with any questions.
